Oracle Archive Log Shipping

  • Data is not replicated in real-time and the secondary server will be several hours behind

Description:


A secondary Oracle server is regularly sent copies of the primary server's archive logs. Upon receipt of the archive logs, the secondary server replays them locally in order to update the local tables.
