Security Analyst

As a leading managed hosting provider for over ten years, NeoSpire specializes in providing mission critical managed hosting services. We are located in Dallas, Texas.

 

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join the Security Team. This position contributes to NeoSpire’s success by ensuring the protection of information and information resources. This is a great opportunity for a Systems Administrator wanting to expand their Security skill sets and transition into a career in Security arena.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and maintain NeoSpire IT security systems and tools (e.g. network and host IDS, scanning systems, logging systems).
• Identify security risks by conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Participate in incident response and system forensics.
• Participate in on-call rotation responding to security events outside of business hours.

 

Communication Skills:

 

• Ability to document requirements and solutions in writing
• Ability to communicate technical information verbally
• Superior team and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interface smoothly with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Capable of performing in a high stress, fast paced technical hardware/software environment.

 

Experience Requirements:

 

• In-depth understanding of threats to web-based applications.
• Possesses a strong understanding of common Internet cryptographic systems.
• 3-5 years of Windows system administration or IT security experience is required.
• Linux experience is a plus

 

Compensation:

 

The compensation package is competitive and is based on experience and performance. Base salary + company bonus.
