Solution: MySQL Circular Replication

With MySQL replication, SQL statements are executed on the master server. MySQL records them in a binary log. In turn, the slave server continually checks the master's binary log for any changes. If it finds a change, it makes the same change locally through use of a relay logging system.

Circular replication is also configured by also instructing the master server to monitor the binary log of the slave. In that way, changes on either database server are replicated to the other.

MySQL Clustering is a synchronous replication using a two-phase commit mechanism in order to guarantee transactional safety across multiple database servers. Clustering is conducted over a network link and does not require any shared components.
